Anthony B. Siniscalchi, better known as "Dutz", 76 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 23rd at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born and raised on Second Street in Jersey City, he was a graduate of Ferris High School and was an all-county shortstop for the undefeated 1952 high school team. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War. In 1958, he married his beloved wife Anna (nee: Donato) at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City. In 1974, he re-opened the bakery started by his father, Antonio and over the next 40 years, together with his wife Anna, transformed a small neighborhood store into a Jersey City landmark, The Second Street Bakery & Deli. He is the cherished husband of Anna & beloved father of, Anthony & his wife Annette, Dino & his wife Jacqueline, Gino & his wife Rosina. He is also the proud and loving grandfather of Anthony, Alexa, Viana, Anthony, Gino & Nicholas. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, February 27th at 8:30 a.m. from the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, 143 Brunswick Street, Jersey City, NJ. A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Interment will military honors will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26th from 2:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m.
